Introduction to Dialogic Interpretation
Dialogic interpretation is an interpretation technique that brings out the knowledge and values of visitors through dialogue among participants. This technique is based on the judicious use of listening and open-ended questions that allow for the expression of all participants in order to foster shared learning, increase empathy and encourage action on universal issues. This session is an introduction to the main principles of dialogic interpretation. You will be redirected to Confluence.

For teams of beginner interpreters that don't yet have the capacity to train internally. This training provides an introduction to the interpreter's profession in the context of the Agency. Introduction to Wildland Fire Management
This training aim to bridge the gap between having no wildland fire management knowledge and the commitment required to complete the multiday firefighter crew member course. It is designed for individuals in non-fireline or support roles who may be involved in wildfire incidents but do not require full operational training. The goal is to provide foundational awareness and practical guidance to help these staff understand their roles, contribute effectively, and operate safely during wildfire events.
