Description
The Working Mind for First Responders is a specialized mental health training course built to strengthen the culture of support and resilience within first responder teams. Participants learn to recognize changes in mental health in themselves and others, use respectful, stigma-free language, and build confidence in having open conversations. Through practical tools like the Mental Health Continuum, individuals and leaders gain skills to manage stress, improve communication, and lead with empathy.

• A clear understanding of how stigma affects first responder culture and practical ways to break it down.

Important Notes on Course Delivery
Online courses: Minimum 8, maximum 15 participants, ideally 12.
In-person courses: Minimum 8, maximum 25 participants, ideally 16.
The four modules are designed to be completed in the intended order, in separate groups for employees and managers.
To receive a certificate of completion:
• Participants must complete all modules within the same group.
