Introduction to Dialogic Interpretation
Dialogic interpretation is an interpretation technique that brings out the knowledge and values of visitors through dialogue among participants. This technique is based on the judicious use of listening and open-ended questions that allow for the expression of all participants in order to foster shared learning, increase empathy and encourage action on universal issues. For teams of beginner interpreters that don't yet have the capacity to train internally. This training provides an introduction to the interpreter's profession in the context of the Agency.
