Access to Information and Privacy
Basic knowledge about access to information is necessary to properly process requests and protect personal information. This online self-paced course is for all Parks Canada employees and provides an overview of the Access to Information Act and the Privacy Act and outlines the steps to follow when receiving a request. By exploring different scenarios, participants will become familiar with the various processes and better understand their roles and responsibilities towards protecting personal information at Parks Canada.
Asbestos Awareness Training
Basic training on raising awareness of the dangers of asbestos when carrying out renovation or demolition work in Parks Canada buildings is available online on an external site. Business Intelligence (BI) - Management reporting
Provides advanced knowledge about report customization and data manipulation. It is expected that you have taken the BI Basic Training provided by the STAR-SAP Team before registering to the Intermediate course. A minimum of 6 weeks of practice using the BI tools is also strongly recommended before registering to the course. A minimum of 5 registrations is required for the training session to take place.
